Olden ‘ToTo’ Theriot
Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Olden “ToTo” Theriot, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday.
A rosary was prayed at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Fr. David Broussard officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Theriot was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, honorably serving his country in the United States Army. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Parks Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post.
He is survived by his son, Dwain (Pam) Theriot; his daughter, Sandra (Johnny) Martin; his granddaughters, Christina (Ricky) Martin, Amanda (Aaron) Priest, Danielle (Nicholas) Simon and Tara (Nicholas) Clark; and his great-grandchildren, Austin Meaux, Corey Gary, Kailey Priest, Gage Savoie, Jacob Simon, Leah Simon, Sebastian Clark and Bailey Clark.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Therese Castille Theriot; his parents, Romain and Ada Frederick Theriot; his brothers, Alfred (High Pocket, Pep), Ledia and Ludon “Colo” Theriot; his sisters, Edith Theriot Laviolette and Verina Theriot Daigle; an infant baby brother; a grandson, Jeremy Theriot; and a great-granddaughter, Kennedy Priest.
Pallbearers will be Dwain Theriot, Austin Meaux, Ricky Gary, Darrel Theriot, Kenneth Theriot and Dale Theriot.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Debra Durham and the special care he received at St. Agnes Nursing Home and Hospice of Acadiana.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
