Henderson – A Funeral Service was held on Monday, Oct. 17, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Nelson J. Theriot, 73, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife Doris Dauphine; sons, Jude Theriot and Nelson R. Theriot; daughters, Mrs. Curvis (Jessica) Alexander, Julie Theriot, Mrs. Andrew (Leslie) Meche, Mrs. John (Rachael) Savoie, Mrs. Randoll (Tracy) Barras, and Lisa C. Joubert; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Robin, Mrs. Bradley (Glenda) Hardy, Mrs. Charlie (Lorena) Tauzin, and Priscilla Theriot.
He was preceded in death by his children, Sidney and Sarah Theriot; brothers, Dunice and Leslie Theriot; and a sister, Vivian Theriot.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
