Myrtle ‘Tee Toot’ Guidry Latiolais

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Myrtle “Tee Toot” Guidry Latiolais, 93, who passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Visiting hours were observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday at 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. Michael Delcambre officiated at the Funeral Service. Entombment followed at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia.
Mrs. Latiolais was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. When she was able to, she would host or attend “Cousin’s Day” on the Guidry side of her family. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Elton J. Latiolais of Ville Platte and Wayne J. Latiolais of Lafayette; her daughter, Frances Cabrini Fruge of Breaux Bridge; her brothers, Chester Guidry of Cecilia, Eugene Guidry and Wilson Paul Guidry, both of Breaux Bridge; and her grandchildren, Daria Latiolais, Seth Latiolais, Danielle Trahan, Bryan Latiolais, Taisha Fruge; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hobson Latiolais; and her parents, Enola Boutin Guidry and Ludovic Guidry Jr.
Pallbearers were Seth Latiolais, Bryan Latiolais, Corey Trahan, David Guidry, Joel Guidry and Darrell Guidry.
Honorary pallbearer was Dylan Latiolais.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
