Mrs. Anna Rita Potier

Parks – Services were conducted for Mrs. Anna Rita Potier, 78, the former Anna Rita Ledet, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Labbé officiating.
Interment was in the St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Visitation was at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services. Rosary was recited at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Potier died on Friday, November 20, 2015.
A native of Parks, Louisiana, and a lifelong resident, she was co-owner of Potier’s Grocery Store in Parks where she ran the business until her illness.
She is survived by two sons Thaddeus Potier and Gregg Potier; two daughters, Rita Reneé Dauphine and Vonda Potier; and three brothers, Joseph N. Ledet, Harold Ledet and Herman Ledet.
Also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ledet Jr. and Georgiana Hypolite Ledet; and a son, Willie Ledet.
The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
