Merrill ‘Mem’ Fournet

Merrill “Mem” Fournet Bulliard, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015, in Bellville, Texas.
She was a native of St. Martinville, La., longtime resident of Baton Rouge, and recent resident of Bellville, Texas. Mem was a secretary at the Pentagon during WWII. She loved many things in life, but took pleasure in the simple things like reading, cooking, traveling, and family gatherings, and often wrote about these events in her life, in published and un-published works.
Mem will be missed dearly by her children and their spouses, Dewey “Buddy” Fournet III (Alice), Judy Henderson (John), Ron Fournet (Denise), Mike Fournet and Jane Hoskins; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne “Cookie” Nason.
Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service began at 12 p.m. Entombment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
