Mary Alice Q. Angelle
Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mary Alice Q. Angelle, 75, who passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
Rev. Michael Delcambre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by her Godchildren. Gift Bearers were her granddaughters, Jena, Alyssa, Morgan, Ava, and Eryn.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Mary Alice was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was actively involved with her parish. She was a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society and the St. Joseph Rosary Group.
She loved gardening and cooking, but baking was her passion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Angelle of Cecilia; sons, Dwayne Angelle and wife Jacky, and Wayne Angelle and wife Michelle, all of Cecilia; daughters, Paula Angelle Ray, Pamela Pickering and husband Dennis, Kerry Melancon and husband Mark, and Sherry Thibodeaux and husband Scott, all of Cecilia; brothers, Jessie Quebedeaux of Bridge City, La., LeeRoy Quebedeaux and wife Georgie of Westwego, and Lloyd Quebedeaux and wife Annette of Arnaudville; grandchildren, Tory Angelle, Jena Delahoussaye, Zachary Angelle, Eryn Rose Angelle, Cameron Angelle, Dalan McGee, Devin Pickering, Dylan Pickering, Dannon Pickering, Alyssa Thibodeaux, Brayden Thibodeaux, Ava Thibodeaux, Morgan Melancon and Scout Melancon; and great -grandchildren, Ezra Soileau, Bentley Pickering and Ashlyn Pickering.
She was preceded in death by parents, David and Alice Taylor Quebedeaux; brothers, Robert, George, Louis, Wade and Johnny Quebedeaux; and sisters, Germaine Gautreaux, Alma Gautreaux, Edith Lejeune and Lucy Morgan.
Pallbearers were Wayne Angelle, Dwayne Angelle, Tory Angelle, Cameron Angelle, Zachary Angelle, Devin Pickering and Dylan Pickering.
Honorary pallbearers were Dannon Pickering, Brayden Thibodeaux, Scout Melancon and Dalan McGee.
The family would like to extend Louisiana Hospice; Ali Richard and Pam Benoit, for their care and compassion they provided during her time of need.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
