Marlene Blanchard Trosclair

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Marlene Blanchard Trosclair, 61, who passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. A rosary was prayed at 4 p.m.
Fr. David Broussard officiated at the Funeral Service. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
Marlene enjoyed arts and crafts, the computer and the casino. She loved fishing, boating, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving spouse of four years, Nathan Trosclair; mother, Claudette Marie Despaux; sons, Shawn Vallot and wife Carolyn, Byron Walsh and wife Robin, and Robin Blanchard and wife Rhonda; daughter, Michaelyn “Mikki” Sanders and husband Climmie of West Palm Beach, Fla.; step-sons, Kenneth Trosclair and wife Emily, Lenneth Trosclair and wife Alisha; brothers, Jimmy Blanchard and Michael “Joey” Blanchard and wife Amy; sister, Janell Caruthers of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Calynn, Shayna, Guess, Logan, Meadow, Navy, Haley, Jazmin, Hunter and Kyley; four step grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred “Joe” Blanchard Jr.; grandmother, Lillian “Lutte” Blanchard; grandfather, Alfred “BB” Blanchard Sr.; brother, Brett Blanchard; an infant sister; nephew, Christopher Blanchard; and late husband, Robin Wayne Hinrichs.
Pallbearers were Shawn Vallot, Robin Blanchard, Byron Vallot Walsh, Michael “Joey” Blanchard, Jimmy Blanchard and Levi Hunter.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
