Lester Bergeron

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Lester Bergeron, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at The Carpenter House St. Joseph Hospice.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 63 years, Mae Hulin Bergeron; sons, Chester Bergeron and Dexter Bergeron of St. Martinville, and Leslie Bergeron of Loreauville; daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Anita) Boutte of St. Martinville; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Henry Bergeron of Scott and Don Bergeron of Breaux Bridge; and his sister, AnnaLee Bourque of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wiley Bergeron and twin brother, Chester Bergeron; and his sisters, Ione Menard and Renella Thomassee.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
