Leonard ‘Matt’ Courville

Henderson – A Funeral Service was held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Leonard “Matt” Courville, 48, who passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Visiting hours were observed from 8 a.m. until time of service on Sunday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson.
Pastor Sherman Soileau officiated at the Funeral Service.
Matt was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, riding 4-wheelers, fishing, and boat riding with his grandkids. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Matt will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Bergeron Courville; his sons, Duke Guidroz and girlfriend Ashley, Seth Courville and girlfriend Allison, and Lawrence Courville and girlfriend Lexi; his daughters, Kaysha Guidroz Duplechain and husband Dusty, and Ciara Rose Courville; his step son, Paul Lasseigne and wife Taylor; step daughter, Jodi Lasseigne; his brother, Luke Jarrod Courville; his sisters, Karen C. LeBlanc and husband Terry, Kori C. Blanchard and husband Christopher “Chris”, and Kris C. Disotell and husband Carl; and his grandchildren, Peyton Duplechain, Brant Duplechain, Blaize Guidroz and Jaylen Lasseigne.
He was preceded in death by father, Alvin J. Courville; his brother, Lawrence “L.J.” Courville; his sister, Katy Lynn Courville; and a nephew, Kaleb Courville.
Honorary pallbearers were Duke Guidroz, Seth Courville, Lawrence Courville and Dusty Duplechain.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
