Kathleen Stelly

Arnaudville – Funeral services were held Monday, May 18, 2015, at a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Kathleen Stelly, 61, the former Kathleen Huval, who passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment was in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. The Rev. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, officiated at the services.
Mrs. Stelly was a native of Cecilia and a resident of Arnaudville where she was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church. Kathleen was an avid gardener, enjoyed Saints football and loved her family and grandchildren. She was loved by all and shined as a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie Stelly Sr.; her mother, Willie Dean Hebert Huval; two sons, Jackie Stelly Jr. and his wife Tiffany, and Michael Anthony Stelly; one daughter, Kimberly H. Stelly Bruce; two brothers, Jimmy C. Huval and Todd Huval and his wife Bridget; one brother-in-law, Russell Stelly; four sisters, Dianna Gail Huval Zerangue, Sireana Huval Savoie and her husband Joseph, Helena Faye Huval Marks and her husband Thomas, and Londa Lynn Huval; and three grandchildren, Reece Jackson Stelly, Cameron Coti Bruce and Hunter John Bruce, all of Arnaudville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elinore Huval; her father and mother-in-law, Weston and Martha Stelly; and one brother-in-law, Larry Joseph Zerangue Sr.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Visiting hours were observed from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday and will continued from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday.
