Judy Lallande Willis

Funeral Services were held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Judy Lallande Willis, 71, who passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Fr. Rusty Richard officiated at the Funeral Service. Entombment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Judy loved cooking, visiting with her family and friends, and occasionally playing a good game of Bourré. She will be remembered by everyone for her good heart and strong opinion.
She is survived by her sons, Nicholas Willis, Warren Gene Champagne and wife Connie, all of St. Martinville, James Willis and wife Jill of Chehalis, Wash., and L. Charles Willis III and his wife, Marcella of Centralia, Wash.; two daughters, Kristen Willis and Belinda Champagne, both of St. Martinville; her sister, Claudette Bennett of New Iberia; 11 grandchildren, Ashley Champagne, Derek Champagne, Joshua Sopko, Blake Bonin, Gage Landry, Brittany Guillotte, Zy Willis, Chaz Willis, Cherish Willis, Louis Charles Willis IV and Arica Kurtzbein; and a great-granddaughter, Danielle Morgan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, L. Charles Willis Jr.; her parents, Claude and Laura Freeman Lallande; two brothers, Dennis and Marian Lallande; and a sister, Betsy Lallande.
Pallbearers were Warren Gene Champagne, James Willis, Nicholas Willis, Derek Champagne, Blake Bonin, Chaz Willis, Gage Landry and Joshua Sopko.
Honorary pallbearer was Zy Willis.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
