Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Sept. 19, at St. Bernard Catholic Church’s Borel Center for Joyce Theresa Champagne Ross, 91, who passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at Opelousas General Hospital.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1.
She is survived by her sons, Richard P. Ross, Bennie C. Ross Jr. and M. Steve Ross; her daughter, Mrs. Shawn (Angela) Broussard; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie C. Ross; and her brother, James P. Champagne.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
