Josephine Hargrave

Catahoula – A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, Oct. 5, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Josephine T. (Melancon) Hargrave, 85, who passed away on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Annie Dean Noel and Aline Berthelot; sons, Allen Sr., Russell Sr., Ronald and Joseph Melancon Sr.; 16 grandchildren and 31 great­-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Stafford Melancon Sr.; son, Stafford Melancon Jr. and daughter Irene Melancon; and second husband, Elridge Hargrave.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
