Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Joseph Wilson Demouchette Sr., 74, who passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at his sisters residence.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Carver Street Chapel.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Laura B. Demouchette; a son, Joseph W. Demouchette Jr.; three sisters, Mary C. Jones, Geneva Harris and Rita Farley; and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 19 brothers and sisters.
Pellerin Funeral Home, 416 Dauterive St., is in charge of arrangements.
