Joseph Harold Thibodeaux

St. Martiville – Services will be held for Mr. Joseph Harold Thibodeaux, 72, at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Mike Sucharski SVD officiating.
Interment will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 7 a.m. until time of services at the church.
A native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville, he passed away on Saturday July 9, 2016, in Lafayette.
Mr. Thibodeaux was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver.
He is survived by two sons, Keith Thibodeaux and Morris Thibodeaux; three daughters, Rebecca Mouton, Augustine Thibodeaux and Ophelia Thibodeaux; two brothers, Weston Thibodeaux and John Thibodeaux; two sisters, Ella Mae Linden and Ida Jones; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Thibodeaux; mother, Olivia Anthony Thibodeaux; wife, Mary Viola Mouton Thibodeaux; a son, Nathan Thibodeaux; a sister, Anita Bourda; four brothers, Robert Guidry, Ramsey Thibodeaux, Russell Thibodeaux and Raymond Thibodeaux.
Active pallbearers will be David Willis, Reginald Nero and Martin Linden. Honorary pallbearers will be Weston Thibodeaux, John Thibodeaux, Keith Thibodeaux, Morris Thibodeaux, Michael Pokier, Jonas Thibodeaux, Joey Thibodeaux, Wilton Charles, Graylin Thibodeaux and Frank Wiltz.
