Joseph ‘J.C.’ Thomas

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 14, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Joseph “J.C.” Thomas, 72, who passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Iberia Medical Center.
Interment followed at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Pierre Thomas; his sons, Karnell J. Thomas Sr. and Joseph S. Thomas Sr.; his daughters, Tracey A. Thomas, Karlet M. Thomas, and Michaela L. Thomas; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandsons; his brother, Morris Thomas; and his sisters, Cecile Sam, Ola M. Bruno and Carolyn Green.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terrill Thomas; a grandsons; his brothers, Calvin and Jerome Thomas; and his sister, Lucille Thomas.
