Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Pellerin Funeral Home for John Alvin Amos, 57, who passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at his home.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Gloria Alexander Amos; daughters, Tisa Gabriel, Lawanna Alexander, Mrs. Javon (Shanda) Huston, Mrs. Brandon (Latarya) Alexander, and Crystal Roberts; sons, John, Javeuin and Jonathan Amos and Dwight Borel; 18 grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Calais and Joseph Amos; and sisters, Geraldine Goodie and Mrs. Octavia Calais.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Amos.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
