Isley Brooks Thibodeaux

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Isley Brooks Thibodeaux, 10, who passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rev. Brian Webre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Isley was a 5th grade student at St. Bernard School. She loved drawing, especially My Little Pony, Converse shoes, sweatshirts, and riding her ripstick while listening to her Ipod. Isley enjoyed playing LYSA soccer, running track (long jump and relay race), hydrosliding, playing with her fabulous friends, playing tag with her brother and Dad and shopping with her Mom.
She was involved in 4-H shooting sports, where she shot recurve bow and advanced to state level. Isley loved playing tricks on people, watching funny videos and she especially loved being with her brother, Tobin. She also enjoyed jam sessions with other musicians from Brazos Huval School of Music. Isley was looking forward to this hunting season so she could kill her first duck.
She is a girl who will be remembered as hilarious, beautiful, full of joy and love, independent and always knew what she wanted. Isley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Shane and Misty Guidry Thibodeaux; brother, Tobin Thibodeaux; grandparents, Cecil and Joslen Thibodeaux, and Earl and Barbara Guidry; aunt, Crystal Boudreaux and husband Mark; uncle and godfather, Kasey Guidry; uncles, Neil Thibodeaux and wife Suzanne, Ryan Thibodeaux and wife Niki, and Blake Thibodeaux; godmother, Kasmin Boutte; cousins, Macy, Mya and Reid Boudreaux, Hans and Jace Guidry, Brooklyn Latiolais, and Logan, Addison, Rory and Enri Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Kasey Guidry, Mark Boudreaux, Neil Thibodeaux, Ryan Thibodeaux and Blake Thibodeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be her 5th grade classmates of St. Bernard Catholic School.
