Harriet T. Thevenet

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Harriet T. Thevenet, 74, who passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at her residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 7 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. David Broussard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Harriet was a graduate of St. Bernard High School and was the Homecoming Queen in 1959. She was member of the St. Martin Parish 4-H for many years and the Breaux Bridge Rosary Group. Harriet enjoyed going to the library to read her favorite books, going to the casino, cooking and camping with family and friends. Harriet loved crocheting and doing pencil drawings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Philip “Dup” Thevenet of Breaux Bridge; her son, Philip Milton “Bo” Thevenet and wife Nicole “Nikki” Thevenet of Arlington, Va.; her daughter, Angela “Angel” Quebedeaux and husband Dwayne of Prairieville; four grandchildren, Madelyn “Maddie” Quebedeaux, Lauren Quebedeaux, Philip Bryce Thevenet and Beckett Thevenet; two brothers, Larry M. Thibodeaux and wife Sue of Parks, and David J. Thibodeaux and wife Yola of Dallas, Texas; and her sister, Lois T. Morrogh of Breaux Bridge.
She was preceded in death by parents, Milton J. and Agnes Trouard Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be David J. Thibodeaux, Clark Thibodeaux, Mark Thibodeaux, Peter Thibodeaux, Dwayne Quebedeaux and Jack Dale Delhomme.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry M. Thibodeaux, Joel Thevenet, Dale Thevenet and Harold Belaire.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, (337-332-2199) is in charge of arrangements.
