George Joseph Martin

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for George Joseph Martin, 59, who passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015.
Visiting hours will be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Fanny Alexander of Breaux Bridge and Janice Jones of New Iberia; son, George P. Jones of St. Martinville; mother, Lillie Mae Martin of St. Martinville; brother, Lester Martin of St. Martinville; sisters, Mrs. Sandry (Dorothy) Davis of Lafayette and Mrs. Willie (Shirley) Lee of St. Martinville; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Martin Sr.; his brother, Lawrence Martin Jr.; and a sister, Lillie Marie Martin.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
