Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi at 9 a.m. for Felton Boyd, who passed March 26, 2016.
Interment will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Boyd leaves to mourn yet cherish his memories his children, Malcolm Boyd and Terry Boyd of Breaux Bridge, Eugene (Laura) Boyd of San Antonio, Texas, Lee Boyd of Atlanta, Ga., Richard (Sherie) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Geraldine Davis-Roy of Abilene, Texas, Aline (Armond) Dardar of Cecilia, Betty (Larry) Pratt of St. Martinville, Veronica Hall of Houston, Texas, Sarah (Harold) Byrd of Atlanta, GA. Cynthia Boyd of Atlanta, GA., Shelia (Norman) Graves of Alpharetta, Ga., and Brenda B. Williams of St. Martinville; a special companion, Dorothy Barber of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Theresa Auguillard of Houston, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Felton is preceded by his parents, Gilbert Boyd and Julia Thibodeaux-Boyd; four sisters, Thelma B. Anderson, Aline Boyd, Anna Lou Williams and Genevieve Ames; and brothers, Simon and Joseph Boyd.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette.
