A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Eulah Williams Zenon, 87, who passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours were observed from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home (Carver Street Chapel). A rosary was prayed at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Rev. Joseph Campion officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Shirley Thibodeaux and Lisa Alexander. Gift Bearers were Dayton LeBlanc and Brennan Jean-Batiste.
Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by her son, Clarence (Earline) Zenon Jr.; her daughters, Willie Mae (Nelson) Wiltz, Betty (Michael) John and Rose Thibodeaux; her brother, Lawrence Williams; her sister, Mary Williams; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Zenon Sr.; her sons, Lawrence Zenon, Curtis Zenon and Joseph W. Zenon; her parents, Ramsey and Rosa Clement Williams; her brothers, Clarence Williams and Harold Williams, her sisters, Hilda Thorn and Lillie Carter; her sisters-in-law, Janet Marie Williams and Catherine Williams; and her son-in-law, David C. Thibodeaux.
Eulah love to play Bingo, traveling to Las Vegas for vacations and enjoying the slots, working in her yard, and praying the rosary. She was a woman that loved to speak her mind.
Pallbearers were Derrick LeBlanc, Michael Emanuel John, Theodore Castille, Clarence Zenon III, LaJohnna Wiltz, Lawrence Anthony Zenon, Kendrick Wiltz and Leonard Zenon.
Honorary pallbearers were Alton Ambrose, Howard Alexander, Darren Martinez, Nelson Wiltz Sr., Michael John and Derrick George.
Pellerin Funeral Home (Carver & Dauterive) of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
