Ethel K. Batiste

St. Martinville – Services will be conducted for Mrs. Ethel K. Batiste, 84, at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with father Michael Sucharski officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery in Loreauville.
Visitation will be at 7 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
She was a native of Banker, Louisiana and a resident of St. Martinville for over 20 years.
She passed on July 6 2016, at 12:30 p.m. at Lafayette General Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Wilton Jones Jr. and Kenneth Jones Sr.; a daughter Lilly Jones Pickney; a brother, Herman Kately Sr.; and a sister, Victoria Marks. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
