Elray ‘Ray’ Joseph Bourque

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service wase held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Elray “Ray” Joseph Bourque, 73, who passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary was prayed at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Reverend Richard Fabre officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Ray was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked for Guidry’s Hardware and the car wash for over 40 years. Ray loved working in the yard with his wife, cooking was his passion, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle B. Bourque; daughters, Vanessa Hulin and husband Perry, Tammie Robicheaux, Tinsle Robicheaux, and Lisa Brown and husband Nevin; sons, Kevin Robicheaux, Dana Robicheaux, Chad Robicheaux, Craig Robicheaux and wife Shantelle, and Brian Bourque; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurant and Rosa Broussard Bourque; sons, T Clint Robicheaux and Chad Bourque; and a granddaughter, Angel Brown.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
