Effie Badeaux Cartier

Patterson – Memorial Services will be conducted for Effie Badeaux Lipari Cartier, 87, at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Word of Life Family Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Patterson.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9 a.m. at Word of Life Family Church on Thursday until time of service.
A native of Patterson and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Cartier passed away at 10:26 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at her residence.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Boudreaux; Mary Aucoin, Penny Boudreaux and husband Raymond, Deborah Barras and husband Michael, Tammy Tores and husband Sammy; Lucy Browder and husband David, Hope Ackman and husband Jessie, Jack Lipari and wife Okie, Paul Lipari and wife Melanie; Chris Lipari and wife Darlene, and Ricky Lipari; 30 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Anthony Lipari, Billy Lipari and Tina Lipari; sons-in law, Homer Boudreaux and Robert Aucoin; daughter-in-law, Nobie Lipari; and parents, Octave and May Waguespack Badeaux.
