Edwin Dumatrait Sr.

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 17, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Edwin Dumatrait Sr., 80, who passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Choate Dumatrait; five sons, Edwin “Eddie” Dumatrait Jr., Bobby Dumatrait, Timmy Dumatrait, Mark Dumatrait and Marcel Dumatrait; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister, May D. Dugas; three brothers, Alcee, Percy and Clifton Dumatrait; four step brothers and five step sisters.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
