Edmonia Hayes Trahan

St. Martiville – Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Mrs. Alvin Adam Trahan Sr., the former Edmonia Hayes, 72.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs.Trahan passed away at 6:17 a.m on, Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Dauterive Hospital.
Mrs. Trahan enjoyed spending time with her family and was known for her love of cats and playing pokeno.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alvin Adam Trahan Sr.; two sons, Alvin Trahan Jr. and Jeffery Lee Trahan, all of St. Martinville; one granddaughter, Jennifer Trahan of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Mary Ann Hayes; and three brothers, Wiley Hayes Sr., Shelton Hayes and Larry Hayes, all of St. Martinville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Boudreaux Hayes and Clifton Hayes Sr.; and one brother, Clifton Hayes Jr.
