Earline Castille Tauzin

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Earline Castille Tauzin, 83, who passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014.
Visiting hours were observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, and continued on Thursday at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary was prayed by Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fr. Paul LaFleur, Pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church, conducted the funeral service. Readers were Patricia Latino and Kami Thibodeaux. Gift bearers were Erin Frederick, Danielle Scott and Shellie Guidry.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Mrs. Tauzin was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Tauzin and his wife Sheila of Cecilia; three daughters, Sandra T. Borel and her husband Ronald, and Denise T. Guidry, all of Breaux Bridge, and Patricia T. Latino and her husband Peter of Lafayette; one sister, Gloria C. Sattler, of Port Arthur, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jody, Corey, Shellie, Shannon, Kami, Erin, Dwayne and Danielle; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick James Tauzin; and her parents, Ivan and Agnes Bonin Castille.
Pallbearers were Jody Borel, Keith Guidry, Kasey Thibodeaux, Kenneth Tauzin, Shannon Guidry and Dwayne Tauzin.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
