Jason James Theriot

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Jason James Theriot, 39, who passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue at 8:00 am until 9:45 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.

Deacon Douglas Melancon will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Jason loved music and especially loved playing his guitar. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and playing video games.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Chris C. (Eva) Theriot; his mother, Priscilla Boudreaux Theriot; three brothers, Chad (Tara) Theriot, Chris C. (Jamie Broussard) Theriot, II, and Kerry Theriot; three sisters, Deena Byrd, Elizabeth Theriot, and Amber (Timothy) Theriot; three step brothers, Gary Wiltz, Jr., Zachary Wiltz, and Matthew Wiltz; and four step sisters, Christy (Starkey) Picard, Tanna (Todd) Chauffe, Doris (Trent) Savoy, and Patty Doré.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Laurent and Elise Boudreaux and paternal grandparents, Ernest and Antonia Theriot.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
