Donald Paul Vicknair

Arnaudville – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Mr. Donald Vicknair, 62, who passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at his residence in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. The Rev. Keenon Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Survivors include two sons, Kent Allemond of Breaux Bridge and Donald “Zeke” Vicknair Jr. of Duson; three daughters, Diana Vicknair Owens and her husband Vince of Leonville, Jennifer Henry and her husband Albert Jr. of Arnaudville and Desiree Vicknair of Breaux Bridge; two godchildren, Dawn Marie Vicknair and Robin Melancon; two brothers, David Vicknair Sr. and his wife Rose of Henderson and Kirtus Vicknair Sr. of St. Martinville; three sisters, Elaine Allemond and her husband Rene Allemond Jr. of Arnaudville, Sarah Stelly of Henderson and Carla Touchet of St. Martinville; one half-sister, Mazel Vicknair of Catahoula; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Vicknair and the former Rose Campisi; one son, Jeramie Vicknair; one brother, Robert Vicknair; and one sister, Dorothy Quebedeaux.
The family requests that everyone arrive at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church on Thursday, August 4, 2016, for the 2 p.m. funeral service.
Pallbearers will be David Vicknair Sr., David Vicknair Jr., Casey Allemond, Brent Vicknair and Rowdy Whittington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joby Bonin, Dawn Vicknair and Nichole Breaux.
