St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Debra Ann Williams, 58, who passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, in Houston, Texas.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville.
Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Debra enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She loved playing cards, going to the casino and entertaining everyone with laughter while showing off her beautiful personality. She is survived by her father, Warren Jones Sr. of St. Martinville; husband, Larry Williams Sr. of Broussard; daughter, Tynisia Williams and companion Phillip James Jr. of St. Martinville; son, Larry Williams Jr. and wife Chasity of Carencro; her companion, McKerry Pierre; brothers, Tommy Batiste and wife Ursula of St. Martinville, Warren Michael Batiste of Broussard, Ronald Batiste of Lafayette and Bobby Joseph of St. Martinville; sisters, Toni Joseph of Houston, Texas, Mary Jackson and husband Ivan of Houston, Texas, and Mary Bell and husband Armon of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren, Ranisia Williams, Paige and Patelon James, and Milakhi, Laurielle and McKinley Williams; aunts, Grace Taylor of St. Martinville and Norma Sue Linden of St. Martinville; and uncles, Ernest, John and Alfred Batiste, all of St. Martinville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Serena Joseph; sister, Veronica Narcisse; brother, Lester Batiste; nieces, Breya Batiste and Treveya Joseph; nephew, Kevin Joseph; aunt, Hazel Flugence; and maternal grandparents, Lena and Samuel Batiste.
