Daisy Marie Sylvester

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Daisy Marie Sylvester, 90, who passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Sylvester, Harry Sylvester Jr., Carol Sylvester, Clarence Sylvester and Nelson Sylvester; daughters, Mrs. Leander (Genevia) Fontenette, Mrs. Alvin (Shirley) Jones, Mrs. Dary (Louanna) Sampy and Mrs. Billy (Mary) Abrams; 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Thelma Celestine, Beatrice Derouselle and Rose Noel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sylvester; daughter, Orma J. Ambrose; sons, Calvin Sylvester and Leroy Sylvester; and brothers, Authur Alex and Dalton Alex.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
