Curtis J. Gardemal Sr.

Coteau Holmes – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for Curtis J. Gardemal Sr., 70, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017.
Interment followed at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Berard Gardemal; sons, Ted J. Schexnayder of St. Martinville, Timothy Berard of Loreauville and Curtis J. Gardemal Jr. of Lafayette; daughters, Tessie Gardemal of New Iberia, Arlene Schexnayder of Coteau Holmes and Shelly Picard of St. Martinville; sister, Daisy Laviolette of Catahoula; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Barras, Juanita Gardemal, Hazel G. Stevens, Mazel Romero and Shirley Guidry; and brother, Marcel Gardemal Jr.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
