Curtis ‘PT’ Boudreaux

Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Curtis “PT” Boudreaux, 80, who passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at his residence.
Visiting hours were observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and continued until 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary was prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fr. Richard Fabre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Melanie Bourque. Gift Bearers were Lance Boudreaux and Seth Boudreaux.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
He loved gardening, cutting his grass, cooking outside for his family, playing his harmonica and listening to Cajun music which brought joy to his life. He honorably served his country in the National Guard for 10 years. Curtis “PT” was known for his quietness, compassion towards others and his love for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Reed and husband Benny of Breaux Bridge, Patty Boudreaux of Catahoula, Iris Broussard and husband Timothy of Poche Bridge, and Denise Broussard and husband Michael of New Iberia; his sons, Clint Boudreaux of Coteau Holmes and Shelby Boudreaux of Catahoula; his sisters, Ledwin Bonin of St. Martinville, Lovell Devillier of Catahoula and Glenda Delaune of Parks; his brother, Ronald Boudreaux of Catahoula; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lee Anna Boudreaux; his parents, Antoine and Jeanne Cormier Boudreaux; his brothers, Willis Boudreaux and Shirlis Boudreaux; and a sister, Lunez Dore.
Pallbearers were Clint Boudreaux, Benny Reed, Kasey Reed, Timothy Broussard, Blaise Broussard and Michael Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers were Shelby Boudreaux, Logan Broussard, Devin Broussard and Camen Broussard.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
