Braylon ‘BB’ Batiste

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Braylon “BB” Armonie Batiste, 15, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Dauterive Hospital.
Interment followed at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville.
BB played football and ran track for St. Martinville Jr. Senior High School.
He is survived by his mother, Tomekia Lashan Vital and spouse Joseph Francis; father, Terry J. Batiste Jr. and spouse Roxanne Prejean; brother, DaMonté Williams; sister, Jordyn S.M. Francis; special grandparents, Theresa Gardner and husband Kenneth; Catherine Berard and husband Shederick; and Terry Batiste Sr. and wife Earline; and great-grandmother, Inez Neveu.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo Hector.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
