Azalie ‘Lilly’ Marie Johnson

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Azalie “Lilly” O’Gea Johnson, 57, who passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Ochsner Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Brian Webre officiated at the Funeral Service with Deacon Cody Miller concelebrating. Scriptures were read by Bandy O’Gea and Debbie McFarland.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Lilly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. As a pastime she enjoyed vacationing at the beach, and playing Pokeno and cards.
Lilly is survived by her husband, Gregory Johnson; her son, Jeremy Johnson and his wife Keisha; her daughter, Christy Johnson; her grandchildren, Keeley Johnson, Andee Johnson, Emmie Johnson, Donte Johnson, Lariona Fowlkes and Shannia Booker; her mother, Betty Thibodeaux O’Gea; her brother, Timothy O’Gea; her sister, Lynn Daigle; and her mother-in-law, Charlotte Johnson
She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil O’Gea; her sisters, Betty Lois O’Gea and Renette Brouilette; and her father-in-law, Andy Johnson.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Johnson, Donte Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Troy Johnson, Courtney Johnson and Jamie Conley.
Honorary pallbearers were Matt Johnson, Danny Robin, Timothy O’Gea and Mark Daigle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
