Antoine Clifton Leblanc

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Antoine Clifton Leblanc, 99, who passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Lafayette.
Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate.
Interment will be in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
Mr. Leblanc was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Leblanc retired from B.F.I. in the 1980’s with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver.
Mr. Leblanc enjoyed trail riding, horseracing and watching the New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.
He is survived by his sisters, Hilda Lyons and Georgia Batiste and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Lastrape Leblanc; parents, Willie and Elby Leblanc; sisters, Rita Flugence, Mazy Landry and May Landry; brothers, Whitley Leblanc, James “Tom” Leblanc, Alton Leblanc, William Leblanc and Wilton Leblanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m.
