Anne Robin LaCombe David

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Anne Robin LaCombe David, age 83, who passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. The Rev. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. David was a native and resident of Arnaudville and also resided in Port Allen and Baton Rouge. She was a devout Catholic who was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a member of the Choir. She was also a member of the Port Allen V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. David had a wonderful personality and always had an open door. She was the family caregiver. She enjoyed crafts but especially loved reading and puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Mark LaCombe and his fiancée, Trish Sulivan, of Maynardville, TN and Phillip LaCombe and his fiancée, Cindy Boggs, of Livingston; four daughters, Susan Cader and her husband, David, of Arnaudville, Deborah Darbonne and her husband, David, of Prairieville, Maria Bringhurst and her husband, Randy, of Central and Theresa McAlister and her husband, Lance, of Arnaudville; one step-son, Jeffery David, of Port Allen; one brother, Herman “Babe” Robin of Arnaudville; one brother-in-law, Salvadore Lorentino; one sister-in-law, Mildred Robin; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nolan A. LaCombe; her second husband, Carrol David; her parents, Albert Robin, Sr. and the former Ruth Arnaud; three brothers, Irving J. “Bin” Robin, Albert Robin, Jr. and Curtis Robin; and two sisters, Ruth Lorentino and Mavis Robin.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Robin, Jude Robin, James Robin, Larry Landry, Mark LaCombe and John LaCombe. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenneth Robin.
