Anna Mae Fuselier Bergeron

St. Martinville – Anna Mae Fuselier Bergeron passed away on July 15, 2015, at her home. She was 83 years of age, born on June 27, 1932, to Joseph and Edna Fuselier. She has donated her body to LSU Health Services for anatomical study.
She was a long time employee of the St. Martin Parish School Board as a teacher’s aid and then a substitute teacher. She enjoyed playing golf, collecting and restoring antiques, and dancing. She also spent many years sewing for family and friends.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Suzette Bergeron, Thomas Bergeron and wife Robin, Camille Ann Bergeron Scott and husband Buddy, and Albert Bergeron and wife Lisa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Genevieve deMahy Perry of Frankston, Texas; her brother, LeRoy J. Fuselier of St. Martinville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Camille F. Bergeron; and half brothers and sisters, Allen Fuselier of Port Arthur, Texas, Emilie Fuselier Adams of Port Arthur, Texas, Elize Taylor of Erie, Pennsylvania, Inez deMahy Berwick Landry of Port Arthur, Texas, Irene deMahy Budwine of Port Neches, Texas, Ernest deMahy of Freeport, Texas, and Francis deMahy of Port Arthur, Texas.
The family would like to give special thanks to her daughter, Suzette, for her many years of caring and devotion.
A memorial Mass was held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville.
