Mr. LeBlanc worked as a consultant in the oilfield industry for many years. As a pastime he enjoyed hunting, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. Andy was known as “Poppa” to his grandchildren and he cherished those moments spent with them and his wife, Rebecca.
Andy made a Cursillo 15 years ago and from that moment his life was then dedicated to his faith. Faith became his number one priority. He was always there for his family and he was the most selfless person in the world. Even though he was a sick man, he never showed his weakness, because his family was his strength.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rebecca Trahan LeBlanc of Cecilia; his son, AndyLeBlanc Jr. and wife Dana of Lafayette; two daughters, Sonya LeBlanc Briscoe and husband Jason, and Bridgette LeBlanc Roberts and husband Danny, all of Cecilia; his brothers, Gary LeBlanc of Cecilia, T-Jack LeBlanc, David LeBlanc and Charlie LeBlanc and wife Mary Ann, all of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Jonell Darby, Rookie LeBlanc and husband Errol, and Karen Miller and husband Ronnie, all of Breaux Bridge; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on-the-way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Alice Guidry LeBlanc; his brother, Robert LeBlanc Sr.; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Wilma Calais Trahan.
