Alyson P. Tom

Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at St. Louis Catholic Church for Alyson P. Tom, 61, who passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the church from 8 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. A rosary was prayed before funeral services.
Rev. Donovan Labbe officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Alyson was a faithful parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church in Parks.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Joanna T. Slaughter of Garland, Texaas, Jennifer M. Tom of Parks; nephews, Michael J. Slaughter of Dallas, Texas, and Shawn C. Slaughter (Erin) of Plano, Texas; great-nephew, Darrion Tobler; and great-niece, Vivienne Slaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Tom Jr. and Marie Vivian Wiltz Tom.
The family would like to thank Activities of Daily Living Home Health Care, Mills Pharmacy of Parks, and Dr. Debra Durham.
