Alvin J. ‘Bozo’ Wright

Arnaudville – Funeral services for Alvin J. “Bozo” Wright, 89, were held at Pellerin Funeral Home on Tuesday Dec. 22.
Mr. Wright was a veteran of World War II, honorably serving his country in the U. S. Navy. During his enlistment period, he served on the Destroyer USS-Daly.
Mr. Wright passed away Dec. 19, 2015, at the Louisiana War Veterans Home after a long bout with Alzheimer’s.
He is survived by his son, Franklin “Randy” Wright of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Karl (Kathy) Ortego of Lafayette; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Mary Robin of Leonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lastrapes Wright; and his sisters, Laura Melancon and Marjorie Darby.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
