Alphonse Roberts Sr.

Cecilia – A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 17, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Alphonse Roberts Sr., 83, who passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
Interment followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Shelly McGee of Breaux Bridge; sons, Willis, Alphonse Jr., Wilfred, Kenneth, Joshua, Willis and Alphonse Alexander; daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Gertie) Broussard, Alma Roberts, Tina Anthony and Bernice Alexander; sister, Verlie R. Henry; 31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Roberts; brothers, Joseph Sr., Calvin and Melvin Roberts, sisters, Annie R. Singleton, Elsie Gordon and Annie R. Mouton; and a grandchild.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia, was in charge of arrangements.
