Adelia Beatrice ‘T.B.’ Mason

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted for Mrs. Sidney Mason Sr., the former, Adelia Wiltz, at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Sucharski Celebrant.
She will await the resurrection at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
A gathering of family and friends began at 7 a.m. on Monday at the church until time of services with a rosary recited at 9 a.m.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, LA, Mrs. Mason passed at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at her residence. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Rose Mae Narcisse and Beatrice (Glenn Peter) Johnson of St. Martinville, and Dorothy (Camille) Provost of Youngsville; one sister, Gertie Mae Robinson of St. Martinville; 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Mason Sr.; her son, Sidney Mason Jr.; one daughter, Judy Ann Mason; and her parents, Gustave Wiltz and Antonia Jeanbatiste; and five sisters and three brothers.
Active Pallbearers were members of the immediate family.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the immediate family.
