Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Ceremony was held on Monday, February 13, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Alberta Hayward Swanson, 95, who passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Interment followed at Ellwood Cemetery in Sycamore, Ill.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Paul (Sue) Campbell of Breaux Bridge; son, Larry Bowman of Port Orange, Fla.; brothers, John Hayward of California and George Hayward of Sycamore, Ill.; four grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Swanson; sisters, Marie Shott, Florence Mueller, Margaret Flury, Charlotte Hense, and Opel Hayward; her brother, Albert Hayward; two grandchildren; and her first husband, Charles Bowman.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
