Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at on Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Lawrence Amos Jr. Batiste, 35, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016.
Interment followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Batiste; father, Lawrence Ames; daughter, Brendasia Clay; a grandson; companion, Naomi Guillory; sister, Shatora Batiste; maternal grandmother, Mary Batiste; and paternal grandfather, Leeroy Ames.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Darnell Batiste; and sisters, Kristina and Katrina Batiste.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
