Jeanette Theresa Wisdom

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.,m. on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church for Jeanette Theresa Wisdom, 82, who passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
Visiting hours were observed from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville.
Rev. Jessie Charpentier, Brother Wallace Primeaux, and Brother Doré Langley officiated at the Funeral Service.
Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Jeanette was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful cook who always made sure that no one ever went hungry, whether it was her family or friends. Jeanette was a compassionate and caring woman who showed nothing but kindness towards anyone she would meet. She will greatly be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald Wisdom and wife Robin of Loreauville, Lee Wisdom and wife Mary of Parks, and Patrick Wisdom and wife Yvonne of Longview, Texas; daughters, Becky Blanchard and husband Gerald of Parks, Joann Degeyter and husband A.J. of Parks, and Wendy Perry and husband Michael of Youngsville; brother, Ralph Carline; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Horace Wisdom; parents, Emmet and Caneilia Daigle Carline Sr.; brothers, Emmet Carline Jr., Ronnie Carline and Roy Carline; sisters, Julia Pointer and Joyce Rebert; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Dugas Wisdom; and son-in-law, Ronald Broussard.
Pallbearers were Kris Wisdom, Ryan Wisdom, Jacob Wisdom, Chet Broussard, Cody Degeyter, Parker Perry and Heidi Kay Migues.
Honorary pallbearers were Andrew Perry and Jayden Wisdom.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home and Bridgeway Hospice for the loving care given to her during her time of need.
