Patsy Latiolais Ray

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Patsy L. Ray, 72, who passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Garrett Savoie officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Shayree Latiolais and Gena Landry Purpera. Gift bearers were her granddaughters, Kimi Braus, Kae Angelle and Tori Robin.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Patsy had such a generous and loving soul. She would always give to anyone that needed. Patsy enjoyed cooking, music, and being with her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jackie Latiolais, her sister-in-law; her caregivers, Carlpreshia, Shantrell, Nicole and April; and her hospice nurses, Hollie and Doug, for the care given to Patsy.
She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Ray; daughters, Dana Angelle and husband Kim and Christina “Tina” Robin and husband Chris; son, Chuck Ray and wife LaFree; brothers, Wiley Latiolais and wife Jackie and Lonnie Luke Latiolais and wife Shayree; grandchildren, Kimi Braus and husband Damon, Kay Angelle, Tori Robin, Gage Robin, Brylan Ray and Collin Ray; and great-grandchildren, Addi and Evan Braus.
She was preceded in death her parents, Walmette and Marie Legrand Latiolais; an infant twin brother, John Latiolais; and her sister, Judy Guidry.
Pallbearers were Chuck Ray, Gage Robin, Brylan Ray, Chris Robin, Kim Angelle and Damon Braus.
Honorary pallbearer was Collin Ray.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
