Fable Courville Terradot

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Laurent Terradot, the former Fable Courville, 82, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia with Fr. Neil Pettit officiating.
Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday at Evangeline Funeral Home with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday until service time.
A native of Arnaudville and resident of Breaux Bridge, Mrs. Terradot passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Fable had a big heart and a loving soul. She saw everyone as family and would love and care for all the children who came into her life. Many people knew her better as “Mom” or “Aunt Fay” than as Mrs. Terradot. Fable was a compassionate and caring woman who opened her home and heart to everyone. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Shellie Terradot and fiancé Ben Bellard; granddaughters, Ahna Duhame and Idahlia Bellard; brother, Roland Courville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Laurent “L.J.” Terradot; parents, Cleus “Pop-pop” and Leota “Mom-mom” Latiolais Courville; and ten brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be members and friends of the family.
