St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Gabriel Leon Jr., 81, who passed away on Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Amelia Manor Nursing Home.
Visiting hours will be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until time of services.
Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Jones and Beatrice Leon, both of St. Martinville; and brother, Eraste Leon.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ednae Sam and Mary Agnes Ophe; and brothers, Joseph Sylvester and Leonard Paul Leon.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
